That was all that was posted yesterday in a 15 mile radius of where I live. And people on here wonder why I have trouble finding jobs to apply for.
Same down here mate. Those job titles look identical to what we're seeing. No unskilled work going now.0 -

I live down south and I keep looking for jobs as the job I'm currently in is limited hours (normaly 25 but 31 if I'm lucky) at minimum wage and 40 mile round trip commute, there are loads of places that would employ non skilled workers, all that type of work seems to be taken by Eastern Europeans, even our local Tesco store, I'm not being racist but it does frustrate the hell out of me, how do they get the jobs, I'm constantly checking job vacancey sites looking on notice boards and the websites of the major employers in the area and I find nothing that suits my skills, I do have qualifications in Business Admin and basic IT NVQ3 but I don't tend to get any response from applications in this line of work, I guess most companies would prefer a female in this sort of work rather than a slightly overwieght middle aged male, as most of it would be receptionist type work.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -

That's simple, one gets in, does all the overtime under the sun impressing the boss so much that he then gets all his pals in.0 -

Same seems to go for hospital cleaners, porters and security staff and care home staff, seems to be a lot in this line of work and it's worrying, if I applied for any these jobs I would need to provide a full disclosure (CRB Check) how do you check the criminal past of people who are not english citizens and don't forget, what our legal system might see as a criminal offence may only be a fine and a slap on the wrists in other countries.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -
well look whats happened with that Philipino nurse in that nursing home in the Panorama programme. I don't care what anyone says but there is always some sort of language barrier and care work and the like should be mainly natitive English speakers:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one
