As long as you pre heat your flask with boiling water for about 10 minutes and make sure your soup is piping hot it should definitely keep til lunch. I do it all the time and often it is actually too hot to drink! The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Fat and protein are essential to health. Try eating the cheese without the bread and see for yourself whether you actually feel hungrier or less hungry throughout the day.Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan

I too would up the protein a bit - aim for a mid morning snack about 10.30 of protein and small amount of slow release carbs - oat cakes and humous, cream cheese or even pate, a handful of nuts and seeds (dried fruit has tons of sugar so may make you feel hungry again soon after), a slice of ham and some veg sticks, greek yoghurt with some seeds sprinkled on and a bit of granola. I make mini baked omlettes in muffin tins - freeze a load and take a couple out at a time. Similar again mid afternoon and you should avoid getting hungry and reaching for the 'bad' stuff!
I have breakfast at 7, mid morning snack at 10, lunch at 12.30, mid afternoon snack around 3/4 and dinner about 7. 5 meals a day and am still loosing weight!!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Just watched this, and given your earlier comment about fat you might find it interesting.

Thanks all. Great advice.
It's made me realise how little I really know about diet and nutrition - which is ridiculous at my age!!
I will spend some time at the weekend looking through all the links you've posted on here, doing some research and then I'll go shopping and try some new recipes!
Thanks for all the help.0 -

Who else on LCHF sort of gets a nervous twitch when dieters present "low fat" as being the aim of dieting? I just want to scream "YOU'VE BEEN SOLD A MARKETING CAMPAIGN TO SELL THEIR FOOD".
Please listen to Mojisola on this!0 -

If you find that interesting then take a look at the interesting study that provided some of the figures.
