Santander slow payments

i sent a faster payment to my other acc with another bank at 4pm... still not arrived. this is a payment i have had set up for ages. what happened to the 2hrs at most??

anyone having the same problem.

i do recall a few saturdays ago it took just over an hour!

You have no cause to complain yet - they have until the close of business on Monday to get it there under the new directives (the end of the next business day).

That's not correct.

The "next business day" will be Tuesday.

The regulations define 'D' (in the D+1 timescale) as...

‘D’ is the business day on which the PSU initiates the payment order (or the next business day if the payment is initiated outside of business hours)

Is this a continuation of the Are Santander planning to defraud me this weekend? thread?

well il let you answer this one.....

of my post contains defraud they it is...... if not, then use your nuggett.

I think the point is from even reading that other thread.... santander seem to go at a snails pace at times..... i never has this problem when transferring from one of my other accounts

If you've read the other thread then why post the same question? Just accept that Santander are carp and move your account elsewhere.
