This is driving me mad!
When trying to use certain programs i.e iCloud the following message appears:
The application has failed because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.
I've tried various things but the problem is still there. Please help!

I have removed some of the ms office 12 as I think this may have been a dodgy copy from a friend.
I also have 15 different MS Visual C+++ listed. Shall I remove them all and just reinstall the ones listed above???0 -
