Ex partner claiming PPI do I sign the form?

My ex partner has been offered compensation from Santander for mis sold PPI on a joint mortgage that we had.
He has sent me the forms to sign but has only enetered his account details for the payment to be made to him by electronic transfer. There is no place for my details on the form.
There is a reasonable amount of money, but when I asked if I would get any he said no. Not even a good will gesture.
My relationship with him is very good and we have 2 children, but the fact that he wasn't going to give me even a tenner has actually hurt my feelings a bit as his excuse is that it was his money that paid the mortgage and so it should be all his. I was a housewife and didnt work, so his theory is that none of it is mine.

Does the bank have to split it 50/50 with me, or should I ask him for a good will gesture even though it may turn things ugly which for the sake of a couple of hundred quid doesnt seem worth it. Also I have changed my name so the form will have a completely different name on it now.
I would phone the bank but they are closed!

Does the bank not have a 24 hour helpline? Mine does. Personally I wouldn't sign it, if it was joint surely you should get half?

Wait until Monday and ring the Bank. Try to arrange your share to be paid to you directly by the Bank. Only consider holding your ex to ransom as a last resort.
