I'm on about the post above the one where i wrote spam. It is blatently a company advertising which is against the rules.. hence being reported as spam!
They have only just joined, the way they are writing is obvious spam and this is their only post... pretty obvious! So no, I haven't lost the plot!0 -

Hmmmm hate to prove you wrong but a) I'm not a company and b) as this is my second post.
Anyway, let's leave it there shall we. I genuinely was trying to recommend something I personally had found very useful. If you don't like it then hey, don't listen to me and don't visit their site :-)
Funny that Martin tweeted a link to a contact lens comparison site too earlier. Did you call that spam? Come on. Not like I was trying to recommend a fake rolex or anything ;-)
Anyway, I don't get anything from them. Perhaps I was just too keen? Should I stop trying to help?? HAHA

Thanks for the cocky title of that message.
When you come on with very low posts (1!) and reccomend a site in the way you did, then it very blatently comes across as spam. More experienced users get away with posting recomendations as they have been here a few times and 'proven' as such, to not be spammers. So no, I won't be reporting Martin Lewis' tweet as I know he's trying to help and not working for that company.
But comapanies coming on here is against the rules, and the tone of your post was like an advert.
I never said you were trying to sell anything fake. The fact is advertising on this forum is not allowed. Recomendations, yes, but not advertising. And thats how your post read.
If you are a genuine poster then I apologize, but to be honest, you sound like a sarcastic person anyway so I don't really care if you want to stop posting. Theres plenty of other genuine people out here who don't get sarcastic and narky at the drop of a hat!0 -

Good Grief! You are having a go in here now! Is there no-one you will not argue with. I'm out of here. What on earth is wrong with you? :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Thanks. When you have been here a while you will see what I mean about the spam posts. Companies sign up and pretend to be happy customers in order to get more business, which is against the rules, and I just misjudged yours. Welcome to the forums. x0 -
Looked like spam to me as well if I'm honest. Must have done to someone else, as it's now been removed!

I'm just looking at getting wedding insurance with Debenhams and wondered if anyone can clear something up for me - The cancellation amount it covers should this just cover the amount of the venue if that was to be cancelled or should this cover the total amount of the wedding?
Thanks everyone

Generally you should be covered for the cancellation of the entire thing. Most companies won't cover things that you can use at a later date or sell to recoup the cost yourself i.e. your dress. However things like rebooking a photographer, or getting a deposit back in the case of complete cancellation, will be covered.
