Hi All
I wondered who which company you lovely people had insured your wedding with? There seems to be a lot of difference in cost between companies so I am having my mind blown a little with what to look for.
We're looking to spend around £5000 in total, no sit down meal just a 4pm ceremony with afternoon tea afterwards followed by a party in a hotel later with a buffet so we don't need an all singing, all dancing policy. Rings & Dress won't be hugely expensive basically because we can't afford them to be and we were thinking of asking for holiday vouchers as gifts since we already live together.
Any hints please with what to look for? We have just provisionally booked the hotel venue so have this to pay a deposit for in about a weeks time. I'm advised to pay for everything over £100 on credit card incase of breach of contract but any other hints on what to look for regarding cover would be great and recommendations on companies.
Many Thanks

you can customise it to what you want so if you rings and stuff are of lower value you can get lower insurance for them and higher for the venue etcThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
Another vote for ecclastical. You can tailor your package, I found it best for what we wanted.Married the man of my dreams - 10th September 2012, St Paul's Bay Lindos :jIt was amazing.

Sorry, one more question, I'm assuming this is a one off payment? Not something you pay each month leading up to the wedding? Sounds stupid I know but just want to make sure I am not missing anything.0

You seem to have lost the plot as far as this website goes. We're here to get recommendations! Either from Martin or each other.
I'm about a year away from getting married and will certainly take the advice above about comparing cover before buying my insurance... Who wouldn't. Haven't needed it up until recently but we're just starting to lay down some deposits.
Have looked at the site and it seems to list every supplier in the UK, even ones I'd never heard of. So defo useful.
Thanks everyone0
