Do PPI claims apply to Allied Irish Bank?

I had an Allied Irish bank credit card a few years back that charged PPI. Does the new ruling about claims apply to Irish banks too?

Yes, put in a complaint if you feel you were mis-sold. The Allied Irish Bank UK is regulated by the FSA and FOS. If it's actually AIB Ireland you can check with the Financial Services Ombudsman in Dublin to see if the process is the same.0

I know the Irish FOS time scales for PPI complaints are shorter than ours are.
