Hi
I recently got the 'new ipad' and I decided on the larger size so I could store music, films, photos etc on it.
However I am stuck as to how to transfer DVD's onto it?
The DVD I am trying to transfer is protected, is there any software/apps that I can get to help me with this?
Please help!

It's ages since I ripped a DVD but Handbrake should do it, and should break the copy protection too.

It's free and I use Handbrake a lot, it's fab.0 -

Instead of messing around with the rip myself (time consuming and slow) I just download the file for the movie I own already, then convert it using a program called 'Videora'. It'll make it into a file tailor made for your iPad, using the correct codec to maximise battery life when playing it. It can also send it directly to iTunes for you so it's straight there ready to transfer.Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.- Mark TwainArguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.0

Hi Christina1982,
I have put DVD films onto my iPod before and assume it will be the same sort of process for the iPad.
Firstly, download AnyDVD and Clone DVD Mobile from the SlySoft website. There may be charges for the full versions of these products but they are well worth it if you plan on doing this a lot.
Start AnyDVD before Clone DVD Mobile and this will remove the copy protection from the DVD. Then run Clone DVD Mobile and follow the simple instructions on screen. The quality has always been good for me and you can choose to include or exclude title menus, extras, subtitles, etc. to improve the quality and minimise the space that it takes up on the iPad.
Hope this helps!0
