Ghastly view! Anything we can do?

Thought I would let you know the outcome of all your valuable advice. When more rubbish was brought to the skip, I decided the time had come to approach the council, who were very efficient. Someone came out to see the mess and left a card and message with a resident of the house.

A few days later the skip was removed, and now we can draw the curtains back without seeing rubble, mattresses and black bags every morning. So many thanks for all your suggestions and advice. It gave me the confidence to do something!
