Cheaper Life Insurance

I have just used an online quote system for life insurance and it seems to be cheaper than cavendish online which by looking at the best buy tables on this site seems to be cheaper than any other company.
I am a single parent and I do not have much money to spare although I love my children very much and would like to leave them something if the worst should happen.
Please can somebody tell me if the following link works out cheaper than that of cavendish?
i am looking for 200,000 cover over 25 years.
the link to the site I have seen is https://www.lifeagency.co.uk
hope you can help
thankyou very much

has anybody been able to check the prices at https://www.lifeagency.co.uk against https://www.cavendishonline.co.uk to see if the life agencies are cheaper or not?
I would like a second opinion really before I begin to tell family, friends and fellow money savers about it?
Happy easter0 -
Past comments suggest it depends on your age and level of cover. Sometimes Cavendish will win, other times life agency will win. Sometimes it will be another company.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. i was looking on the net for life insurance as im in the process of buying a house im a first time buyer, for me and my partner but why does the premiums cost more per month for cover of £100,000 for 25years £72 per month, then a cover of £100,000 for 2years £40. i checked on the norwich union site for a quote
do i get the 2 years options and buy cover every 2 years at the cheapest price. ????
wat kind of cover should i really go for.0 -
Life cover for 2 years is going to be cheaper than 25 years as they are only insuring you for 2 years and not 25. They (basically) average your age over the term of the policy and that is the premium you pay.
If you try doing 2 years at a time you run the risk of becoming uninsurable and each time you "renew", your premiums will be higher than the time before as you are two years older.
There are a few companies that do yearly renewable term assurances (which is basically what you are doing with your 2 year option) and these do tend to be cheaper than a level term assurance in the early years but go on to be really expensive in the later years.
I recall seeing quotes on YRTs that start at £40 a month but end up at £350pm later on. Whereas a level term asssurance would be about £70pm all the way through.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Try this website http://www.lifeinsurance-life.co.uk/quote.htm there brokers
I registered my details for a free quote within a couple of hours they called me back.
I'm a single mother looking for a policy to pay out £100,000 if I die to the guardian of My son. I wanted a policy for 18 years and they quoted me £6.33 per month.
Also if I find a cheaper quote they'll match it and send me gift vouchers.0
