Anyone able to tell me how much these cost per trip? Is it depending how far you travel or a set rate.
Thanks

All the information's in that link, but I'll point out a few of the main things.
First - Blackpool has a new fleet of modern low-floor trams which provide the service - if you just want to use the tram to get about, you can use these with a 'Saver' ticket which (for adults) is £4.50 on the tram, or £3.50 bought in advance, and also valid on Blackpool buses (not Stagecoach).
Travel is free most of the time for concessionary pass holders.
You catch these trams from the new raised platforms.
Second - the old 'heritage' trams no longer operate as part of the regular service - instead there's a limited-stop service between Pleasure Beach and Bispham, which you catch from stops with a green circular sign - these don't have platforms.
These cost £10 for the day (£5 for pass holders), but that also includes the other trams and buses so is effectively a £5.50 premium.
What this means is you need to decide on arrival if you want to go on the old trams, and buy the appropriate ticket.
For travel along the prom the Number 1 bus also runs parallel (most of the way) with the trams.
If you want to buy an advance 'Saver' ticket (£3.50) you need to go to one of the Paypoint agents listed on the website, or in the town centre go to the tourist information centre or the travel centre on Market Street.
As shown on the website, you can of course buy single tickets - but the day ticket is so cheap it's hardly worth it (in previous years you needed to buy a different ticket to use the trams, and it was twice the price).

oooOOOooo
Conditions of use on Saver Tickets- Saver Tickets are valid for all Blackpool Transport bus and tram services on the day(s) specified
- Saver Tickets must be shown clearly to the driver (or conductor) upon boarding each vehicle, and must be presented for inspection to authorised employees of participating companies
- Saver Tickets are non-refundable and non transferable
- Use of altered of incorrectly dated Saver Tickets will result in withdrawal and may lead to prosecution
- Person misusing Saver Tickets will immediately forfeit them without any right of a refund and may be liable for payment of an excess fare or prosecution
- If a Saver Ticket is lost or stolen no replacement or refund will be given
If you are staying for a few days, the cost of buying a saver ticket is neglible. You can travel on the buses and the trams for less than £2 a day.
One point worth noting is its cheaper to buy your ticket from the office on rigby road, ( up by the Manchester pub ) or the metro office in town, centrally located, not far from the tower. The savers are more expensive if you buy them on the trams, for some inexplicable reason.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?
