Had a look here:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insurance/compare-cheap-car-insurance
Noticed that compare sites seem to be listed in order of successful results starting with worst?????
Also noticed that all compare sites except last list 'pros' & 'cons'
Also searched for cheapest insurance for myself prior to finding this web page using moneysupermarket and found it £100+ cheaper than my current quote
Also followed webpage guidance and tried the top recommendations (at bottom of list) including "Compare the Market", which found poorer results (no cheaper than my current quote)
Conclusion:
Are the website reccomended at the bottom of this webpage just sponsored links and not actually best comparison websites at all (as page suggests)
Is the web page just one big advert???

When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?

"which all have a * within the main body of the articles, help MoneySavingExpert.com stay free to use, as they're 'affiliated links' which invisibly take you usually via affiliate linkage or commercial money sites, which then pay this site. "
Martin doesn't get the money for nothing, so of course it's all advertising.
It doesn't mean it's bad advice though, although there used to be more alternative companies listed that didn't pay referral fees.
At the end of the day, any shopping around is better than none.0 -
I tried getting Quotes for my car insurances about month early the prices were aleast £50 to £60 cheaper ,so i insuranced using those prices kept the qoute number and now i checked the prices very high so it is better to check early and try talking to own insurance too.0

I dont think its a good idea to get more than 1 quote.
I noticed the same, Keep doing them and the price increases.
Dont do them until you are ready to purchase it. And dont do them more than 30 days before. Quotes normally 30 days max.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I've tried various days/dates and makes no difference to quotes I've recieved
All I have noticed after over 10 years of insuring online - a renewal quote is allllllways far more expencive than if you get a new quote from same insurer with exactly same cover
like this year I am quoted "renewal" of about £360 (Saga) yet i've typed it back in to get a 'new quote' of £280
So my personal tip for insuring would be never ever ever accept renewal price
I first noticed back when the difference was about £10-20 but now it seems like £50-60 differenceWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0
