don't worry you're not missing anything - their prices aren't cheap (some comparisons I made on my 1st visit were higher than sainsbury's   ) - wholesale my @rse (as Jim Royle would say) I didn't bother renewing my card this time round (many of us had them in our office)Hate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0 -
OK so I did go on a rant, and I unreservedly apologise to all 18 year old girls and Chavs I may have slighted, but I still don't understand why they restrict membership, is it some strange Tax or VAT reason?
I notice on their US website they let anyone join (if US citizen) I e-mailed their UK operation and they confirmed I was eligible to join, not sure if I want to now (throws rattle out of pram!).
As Groucho Marx said "I refuse to belong to any club that will accept me as a member"!

Same here, I thought CostCo was ridiculously expensive. Tyres I could buy cheaper from my local tyreman, food cheaper in Asda and drink cheaper at Boozebusters - in bulk or otherwise. Even their electrical goods like plasmas and cookers were not cheap once VAT was added and you can get much cheaper online with more discounts through Quidco.
If a business, I can't see how buying mars bars allows you to recover the VAT anyway, unless you're a sweet shop so I can't really recommend CostCo to the average Joe.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -

anyway i wouldn't feel bad, mse can probably get you what you want cheaper, no warehouses full of apparent chavs (never been but hate chavs) and it costs precisely £20 a year less to join, no photo i.d card to lose and none of the ''show your vat form at the desk''things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back thenMercilessKiller wrote: »BH is my best mate too, its ok
