Left tax credit system whats the procedure

Hi - I left the tax credits system last week :j due to a partner moving in and our income is too high to qualify.

I have an overpayment to pay back of which I am aware etc and have discussed this with them.

Does anyone know what happens now, do I wait and receive some paperwork for the 11/12 payments etc to sign off or do they look back at my claim, does anyone know what happens when your claim ends?

Thanks

We left tax credits a while back - there wasn't a procedure as such, I just informed them of our income and filled in the annual renewal pack with the correct details. At some point (can't remember exactly when but might even have been a year later), they wrote to tell us that unless our circumstances had changed our claim would be ending and it did. Annoyingly, even though I gave them all the right information they still managed to overpay us and ask for money back. So I'd say don't stress about it, just tell them the information now and fill in any forms that turn up, it should all sort itself out in time.
