can i sue control account for harrassment?

Having had an invoice from control account . After informing ecp I was not the driver and to please contact the driver. I got the first letter from control and informed that as the debt was denied i would sue them if they contacted me again.

I get the 2nd letter and the goon on the phone says it us my responsibility even if I wasn't the driver( which I laughed at)

Given other peoples successes do you think it is worth a punt putting a claim un via mcol( with the experts help) and see where it takes me.....

Views pls!!!

It sounds like you sent what amounts to a Letter Before Action, and they sent a second letter. Sounds good to me.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

It would be worth a LBA to ECP and the landowners, you would have to do so before issuing a claim anyway. However if you have already contacted them do so again telling them its nothing to do with you. The more you can get from them the better.

It can be beneficial collecting letters and replying!;)

If they have only sent one letter since you warned them, then that isn't enough. Wait until they have nearly reached the end of the letter chain (no need to write to them again if they ignored you) and then just hit with a claim.

And what goon on what phone? Phone calls are of no use here.
