How do I find out how much shares are worth?

six yeare ago I bought £100 of shares in a company called orchard furniture

any idea how i check if they are worth anything now?

Had a look for you in the usual sources - looks like the shares have disappeared without a trace - here is the most recent reference I could find....

Assuming it's the same company:

Looks like the holding company "Orchard Furniture PLC" sold their furniture businesses, and used the proceeds to pay off their debts. Shares in the company were suspended in 1999, but you bought in 2001 so they must have sorted whatever it was out, so I don't know whether you have shares in what is now Parallel Media Group.
