I have just had a phone call from Scottish Power, a very nice lady saying that we were paying to much on our direct debt, and said we could drop it £10 a month, also she had noticed that we had a online account and asked if i signed up for the fixed rate online deal, we could drop our payments buy £21 a month!
just thought this was really good of a big company to do!!! :beer:

    I'd like to think they've been genuinely nice and one day all energy co.s will operate this way.

    Being more cynical however I wonder whether they have actually just tied you into them for a given period knowing full well that you may be paying less but still wont be getting the cheapest deal you could had you shopped around?

    Failing that if she's genuinely being nice without proper authorisation dont worry, they soon have her retrained as to the way to do things ;)
