BT Buisiness contract

am looking for a bit of advice please. We are tied tenants on a farm, which my partner works for, and have a bt buisiness line in the property which we dont pay for. We wanted broadband but could only have the buisiness package because of the buisiness line which also means a 2 year contract. I feel really silly now as a friend pointed out, why dont you just get a second line put in as residential. Thing is we have already agreed contract with bt and they have told me there is no cooling off period and so we can cancel if we wish with a cancelation fee for the 2 years (380.00). So please if anyone knows of a way to deal with this i would be happy. It looks as if we just have to grin and bare this for 2 years. Thanks

Yes, no cooling-off period on a business contract. A residential BT line would have cost you up to £130 though. No free lunch, and no free laptop

They are not like for like - you will receive a might better SLA (Service Level Agreement) and faster repairs, including enhanced compensation should service be disrupted. I don't believe you're really going to be disadvantaged by being BT Business compared to Residential (which can be awful). Yes, you'll pay a bit more, but you'll get commesurate levels of service and a better deal if BB is vital to you.0
