Send Halifax a formal complaint about their tactics causing you distress. Include a copy of the aqua letter and demand compensation of around £50. Aqua are Halifax collections. Worked for Me. I was unhappy that they were using aqua branding as scare tactics.:beer:0

Sorry, HB, it wasnt either. I had a Marbles card - they were sold to SAV credit (trading as aqua) and administered by HBOS. (as I found out with my Default/Termination notice. No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

This was a couple of years ago mind. When behind with payments marbles sent letters to me from aqua claiming to be a DCA. I recall a recent letter about the sale of my marbles account. Is this SAV as you mention?:beer:0 -

Mine was I think three years ago.... their letters were somewhat confusing. They did explain it in great detail after I sent a lengthy comlaint letter.
I just remember that the cards were sold to AQUA / SAV Credit and were operated (at that time - not sure if still stands) by HBOS. Suppose it is similar to when A&L sold their cards to MBNA years ago.No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.
