I have sent off my ucas form for a place at uni, but can someone please tell me if I am supposed to apply for student loans and bursary etc before or after I have been offered a place.

This link will keep you informed when you can apply for your student loan, if I remember right it's about April/May time think more towards May. You can either apply via paper or online. Have you not heard back from any of your choices yet?

my brother deferred a year and has an offer to join in september
because if this he has not applied, but he is off to OZ tomorrow for 6 months (so jealous) - will he be able to sort it when it gets back?0 -
Yes but it may be alittle late in hitting his bank account not available on first day at Uni when he registers, due to the fact that he will be applying for his loan late.Why pay full price when you may get it YS0
