Came back from shopping this morning having spent £7.20 on 24 food items that were all marked down (not yellow stickered). They had gluten free cereals, gf biscuits, gf fudge, gf chocolate, 500ml cartons of milk and yeast all for 20p each. Then I got medium tins of salmon and choc-nut spreads for 50p each.
My Sainsbury's brand match receipt said "Great news! Your branded shop was £25.24 cheaper here today.":j It's worth checking out some of these items if you pop in. It's probably store specific but you never know.

  • Make your own kite kits in Sainsburys have been reduced from £4.99 to 24p. Great for my Rainbow group! Paint your own flower pots are down to £1.19 from £3.99, so not as big a saving, but still worth it.

They might be handy for Christmas presents or putting into hampers.
  • It's in store.

YL, it might be worth ringing ahead to check for stock, and asking them to put them to one side. I rang because we don't have a branch near us. I saw them in a branch near my friend's house, but they only had one kite. I rang another store, and when they said they had them in stock, I asked for ten to be kept for me. I had Rainbows that night, and couldn't go until after the meeting, and the branch is a half hour drive away. I was told that they don't sell more than five at a time, but when I explained that I wanted them for Rainbows, the manager allowed me to have the ten kits.

Hope your friend gets them x
  • Just been to my local store and they had the Monster High dolls all half price. There was the new Freaky Fusions for 13.49 instead of £26.99, single dolls for £6.something, a twin pack - rochelle goyle and another doll for £15.something. Not sure if they're online aswell.

hope this helps someone else xx
