Lots of kitchen stuff reduced in mine today, 25-70% off, baking trays, cake tins, sets of mugs, baking sets, Tupperware, pans ect.
Was in a rush and had toddler with me so don't know prices but lots reduced so check that section if you are going, you might get a bargain - at mine some were on seasonal aisle and some where it normally is so check both areas

Lots of reductions in my local Sainsburys too (Hemel Hempstead), got some lovely saucepans and bakeware at 70% off, well worth a look but I'm sure they'll be snapped up quickly.

Picked up a frying pan for £7.50 down from £24 http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/sol/shop/home_and_garden/kitchen/kitchenware_sale/cookware_sale/pots_and_pans/123474089_cooks-collection-hard-anodised-28cm-frying-pan.html?hnav=4294889564 but it went through at full price , no problem getting that corrected, some handy silver canister's for £1.80 down from £6 http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/sol/shop/home_and_garden/125023071_by-sainsburys-clip-top-large-stainless-canister.html?hnav=4294967025 , coveted a teal cast iron pot, they are the most gorgeous colour, but don't really need it or have the space.

This morning I bought a Tala icing bag set with 8 nozzles reduced from £5.50 to £2.75. I've often thought about making those fancy cupcakes so can try now! It has a fabric bag but I noticed packs of disposable bags were reduced too so am wondering if they might be better?!:p

Disposable bags are great I would get them. Life is too short for washing out icing bags and they are usually too small anyway.
  • Bought a fantastic Mason and Cash ceramic measuring jug. Was £15, half price on ticket £7.50 which I thought was good value, but went through at £4.50.

    One of these:

A fair few left in Lincoln.

Disposable ones are good but since you got a nice bag there is a handy tip I saw on a video online. Put your icing in middle of a good size piece of cling film twist up at both ends and feed one end through nozzle before securing it on. Then just pull it through till the icing is at the tip and cut end off. Nozzle might get a little messy but bag stays clean. Hope that makes sense but sure you could find video online if not.

Tell me about it! The cupboards in my v compact kitchen are stuffed to the gills, I keep promising myself I'll move to a home with a big fat kitchen and a walk in pantry, with one wall dedicated to my bakeware and kitchen gadgets! :D

Today in Lincoln I picked up the stockpot that's normally £20, marked at £13.33. It went through the till at £20. CS said the price had gone back up to £20 today, but they would honour the reduced price. So does this mean the 'event' is ending?

I also got some half price and better stationery odds and ends.
  • Lots of rtc bakeware in my local. I picked up some novelty cake tins for less than £2.10 and £2.40 (rocket shaped and football shaped).
    Slummy mummy!
