Can anyone tell me if from experience of booking these things, would only standard accomodation be available at butlins Skegness??

some parks allow you to upgrade at a cost. You will need to contact the park selected to arrange:D

does any one know what todays code word is please
  • Hi
After a bit of advice from some kind person.
Is it possible to book 2 consecutive hols at the same park, and if so, not have to move caravans?
We'd love to go for a week, but don't fancy moving sites, ( which we 've done in the past! ), or changing caravans- ( I do have 2 online booking refs)
If this is possible, is there any info we need to know?
Any help will be gratefully received.

    Many thanks in advance :)

We did a Daily Mail one to Skeggy just last week. From memory, when I got my confirmation from Butlins, there is an upgrade available but you can only upgrade to Silver. If you wish to upgrade further you basically pay the full cost of a holiday as if you were booking through Butlins direct. However, for Silver, the only real difference in accommodation is the lack of a microwave (which can be hired onsite anyway for about £20 a week....) and lack of an iron. According to the brochure, you shouldn't have a leather settee and you should get a smaller TV too but we've now taken two hols in standard Butlins accommodation and both times we've had the leather sofa and larger TV - personally I didn't feel it was worth the cost of upgrading........ hth :)

Hi, I have done this in the past. You will need to phone the holiday park direct once you have booked the two breaks. However, they won't all guarantee to keep you in the same accommodation but even though we were told that it couldn't be guaranteed when I first called, I later upgraded and was assured that we would be in the same unit. Not sure whether upgrading made any difference or not. That was with Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks on their Golden Coast site. (Which I highly recommend - but would recommend an upgrade!) :)
  • Todays codeword is

    MUST

    Hope this helps xxx

Many thanks for the heads up!
I know I'll need to be very lucky to get both, here's hoping!!
( If we do have to move, its not too bad if we can stay on the same site, just thought it would save a bit of messing. )
Hopefully it will be a Haven site.
Oh, & thanks for the advice re: Woolacombe Bay, as we are always looking for new places to try!
Good luck this eve to everyone!!!!:):)
