Brown Parcel Tape : Online

Where do folk here buy their brown tape.
I usually go for the 40m tape at Home Bargains, at 59p, but surely there's a good online store, to make life easier.
I usually just surround the whole box with tape, but I suppose if I bought stickier tape, I could use less.
Which is the best tape ?
Where's the best place to buy ?
Many thanks !

I prefer to use a decent tape, such as 3M, and then as I know I can rely on it I only cover the openings of the box, so it usually looks like a 'H' shape of tape top and bottom. I buy it direct from 3M who regularly have free delivery offers. It is nowhere near as cheap as you buy it though.0

Another vote for the proper 3M or Scotch brand tape.
I learnt the hard way that you get what you pay for with cheap tape, that either doesn't stick properly, is too flimsy and curls up too easy and sticks to itself when being applied.
I found it to be a complete false economy buying cheap packaging. Find a quality brand, then look for the best price on it.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
yup, those cheap brown tapes are a false economy really0

3M and Scotch are one and the same. Buying 36 rolls brings the price down to 73p a roll which ain't too bad for 50mm X 50 Mtrs.Never Knowingly Understood.

Done the same, Seen rolls of cheap brown tape and its rubbish.
Will barely stick to itself never mind your parcel.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I use brown tape almost like strapping, but I just use tape from Morrisons, two I think 25 meter rolls for I think it was 59p, and unlike some cheap rubbish it's actually reasonable quality, although if you want to buy online the best place to get packaging materials is normally eBay.
Another good tape for packaging is Cross weave tape, very very strong and not too expensive, try this (click here), very good value.0
