Frape is short for 'Facebook rape', basically someone uses your account, usually when you have left your computer logged in. Mostly used by infantile friends who put stuff up implying that the user is gay..

I hate the wordfrape. Someone messing about with your social media is in no way like being raped. Stupid kids.

I'd drop your cousin a private message on FB saying I think someone has got into X's FB account as I've got some messages that obviously aren't from him. It's not a big thing -accounts get hacked or messed with-the nice thing to do is to let the account holder know so they can sort it before it offends someone who might take it really badly and do damage. I've let people know before-and just got a thank you message back.

    This. ^^^^^

It's the most sensible and mature way of dealing with the situation, it makes is clear you're not happy with the messages without making any accusations or causing upset.

This is probably the best thing to do, methinks...
  • one of my friends asked me if i wanted to join in with her questionnaire on sex....

I'm pretty sure he has been hacked so I'd just suggest to him that he needs to change his password to something completely different.

Also, on private settings somewhere there is a bit where you can log out off all devices you are signed into, which is always worth doing every now and then. That way if he has been hacked from another computer, they won't be able to get in again.

Suggest you message him back with a simple message of ??????????

see what his response is, if it is still inappropriate, THEN e-mail the cousin.

Even of his mates have been in his account, she will likely be furious that he has been careless / embarassed her etc. and it will cause an argument. If it is a prank he will be able to apologies and explain, sometime the old saying - least said soonest mended is the best course.

So someone sends a message and he's dangerous and the police should be called? Is that what you are saying?
