Don`t know if anyone else has had the same problem? I parked in a 'parking eye' car park which was free for 2 hours but you could pay for longer. I decided I needed 3 hours and paid the extra required, obtaining a ticket from the machine. I received a parking fine, saying that I had parked for 2 hours 53 mins. Which I had, but I`d paid for the extra hour. Unfortunately i`d not kept the ticket as I didn`t expect to need it again-but I am absolutely SURE I paid and the machine issued me with a ticket.
I`ve appealed but the time for it only being 350 runs out on Tuesday.
Any advice, anyone?
Alison

Yes, ignore their letters and do not engage with them. They are scam artists trying it on with their unenforceable "fines". You paid for the extra time so you owe them nothing."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

Advice ?
Only the usual advice Alison Ignore them, you have already done too much by contacting them, Ignore all other lettes off them from now on unless its officially stamped court papersYou may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
Hi Alison,
You have wasted your time appealing. The whole system is a scam which has only one objective- to fleece drivers. So I confidently predict your "appeal" will be turned down.
However, all is not lost! Since the ticket is a FAKE and is completely unenforceable, you won't need to pay it. Forget appeals or correspondence, all you will need to do from here on is to totally ignore this thoroughly disreputable company. They have played on you a trick they commonly play; sadly, a proportion of drivers do not find this forum, and think they have to pay- after having their "appeals" rejected of course.
Now you know better. The charge has no legality, YOU know you did nothing wrong, so ignore it. Remember only official bodies acting under statute law can issue fines (councils, police, Transport for London) and Parking Eye MOST DEFINITELY have no official powers.
So never mind any phoney offers to reduce the amount- just ignore it and after a set routine of template letters they will give up and go away.
The amount will then reduce to £0.00.0 -

Writing to the car park owner might be an idea, if only to drop PE in the [CENSORED] with them. They ought to be told what they are doing on their behalf.
That ticket would've been damning evidence, though. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

It certainly would. It was worse than losing the winning lottery ticket! (well, nearly)0

Not that it makes the slightest difference in the real world, Alison, as explained on your other thread.0
