I pay a fixed rate of £55 for both gas and electric.
My most recent on line bill showed a debit of nearly £50 and told me that they were increasing my direct debit to £70 per month.
I also recently received a text message telling me that an account review was due and if I called an 0800 number they'd do their best to help me with my bills.
I called today and was told that £70 was too high. So they're going to reduce my direct debit to £63 per month. And he linked my Tesco ClubCard to my account as well. Which was nice of them.
So, although I'm still going to be paying £9 a month more, at least it's not £15 a month more.

I've gone back to paying bills at the bank!
Got sick of the stupidly high monthly direct debits that they kept putting up every few months even to a point where we could not afford the payments
Also upping once without permission after I had called to say no to it
Paid a lot less being off DD even though DD was supposedly cheaper
We're still with them as on fixed rate but that ends soon so will shop aroundI love War Of The Worlds:heart2:
