Well done Currys!

Never thought I'd write this but well done to Currys. After my old Whirlpool double oven broke I ordered a Bosch one via their web site after visiting their store, at a great price better than other on-line retailers + 10% discount (from a MSE link), free next day delivery by two friendly chaps within the time window promised, took away my old appliance and all up and working in no time. An excellent customer experience end to end! Am happy!

My double oven packed up ....... Xmas day .But thanks to Curry's had a working on by New years Eve ( del day after I had chosen a model )

I have to say that my opinion of Currys has changed over the past 12 months ever since we went to look at ovens in one of their stores, purely with the intent of choosing one from their wide selection and then buying on-line elsewhere at a cheaper price.

Having selected one from their range, we returned home and found that we could not buy it any cheaper on-line than the price in Curry's store.

We did buy it from Curry's, but on-line, because thanks to Quidco we got another 10% off the price - also a better Quidco discount than other retailers.

Since then, we have found the same very competitive prices from Currys, too, on other items (Dyson vacuum cleaner and a coffee maker). I think you need to be a little wary and make use of their special offers and sales but, in the main, their deals seem good value.

Luckily, I have not had to make use of their after-sales-service, so I cannot speak for that.

I have no connection with Currys other than as a customer.
