£10k for family car...
Hello all
So, I'm looking to upgrade our seriously old 3 door clio for something with 5 doors - and we need an automatic.
We loved the look of the Toyota Verso (like the seven seat option), but can only afford the 2009 version, of the automatic - and have been told repeatedly, that the gearbox on them is one to be avoided, until the newer 2010 version... so that's out!
Vauxhall Zafira - my wife is just against it for some reason. Me not so much. Sigh!
Just tested a Ford C Max (told to stay away from S max and Galaxy because of gear boxes!) - and it was nice, but it doesn't have the seven seats and doesnt have elec windows. We have a four year old who would enjoy winding them up and down. Plus we have been told it's pretty juicy.
Had a look at some 206 Honda CRVs today. I like them but the man selling them was an a$$ hole.... so decided against that for now.
Are we overlooking anything? It doesn't necessarily need to be 7 seats. I like all the little things like - rear parking, and mp3 jack thingy!
I'm finding this whole process frustrating - the minute I like something, I hear something terrible about them and for so much money - I don't want to make the wrong decision.
