Updated my sig as went to Lidl yesterday - I don't normally have access to it as we live too far away, so I can see myself stocking up on muesli, chopped toms and greek yoghurt as a starter.
I may need some extra veg over the week but I am trying to stick to the meal plans. I am half way through making flaky pastry to do onion tarts later, and will also be making sweet pastry to do jam tarts.

    Hello

Please put me down for £360 for May please. This is for 2 adults, 2 children, 3 cats and a rabbit. I'm going to find this really tough to achieve as it will involve a change in our lifestyles.

I really need to get a grip on spending so here goes, wish me luck....

Hehe. :D More than welcome - we always end up cooking meals for 4 anyway. Good for leftover lunches at least :p

It makes sense taking turns - I cook 3 times a week, he cooks 3 times a week, then a shared meal once a week or go out and meet friends/go out to a restaurant etc. Otherwise we would both be cooking separate meals and I always find that when cooking for one I tend to do very basic meals. We do have separate food budgets though. I never see the point in cooking anything special just for me. :o
