 is it just me or is anyone else finding it hard to THANK people for their posts, maybe just my computer?
Not having any problem with thanking people, unless I forget I have done internet options and cleared the cookies, so need to sign in again, I do that often, senior moments in my case,Slimming World at target0 -

No, I reckon it was my initial measurement for milk:o
My scales are not reliable so the measurements I gave are based on my dodgy scales! The amended recipe should be much better now that you have pointed it out.:)
Just add less milk/more flour until it becomes a workable dough. When done, it should be soft and moist inside. The cheese is mmmmmm as it is warm and gooey in the still warm bread!:):A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

We got Mil a really low price basic one - did all she needed.
I am DEFINITELY going to try my hand at that at some point!!!!
I do need a microwave. I am so tempted now that I have been baking the 2 minute sponges at mums most days. I really miss the reasons I had one in the first place now! I loved em for baking potatoes too! Oh and the best of all reason that I loved it was that it was so easy to make a choccy fudge pud for guests. I made it before hand but warm the individual slices for 8-10 seconds in the microwave to melt the topping before I scoop ice-cream out!!!
I really fancy that again now I think of it.:):A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Awwwww congratulations!:DGorgeestwo wrote: »Thanks for this I'm going to give this a go, both my children absolutely love peppers in any shape or form, do you serve it with anything else?
I'm definitely going to be trying some of the recipes on the first page as my son has asked that wednesday be our 'try something new day'this week I'm going to be making my first ever risotto, which I have to say I'm a little bit scared about lol
I often just have the peppers by themselves as they're quite filling with the savoury rice in - although I sometimes have a bit of salad too if I've got some that needs used up.
I love the idea of the "try something new day" and must try to do that myself! I did Risotto for the first time a few months ago and I've found a great recipe (Chicken & Leek on the front page) which is really easy and also forgiving! I now have it at least twice a month - wish I'd been brave enough to try years ago!:)
Jumblejack ohhhhh the herby cheese bread ...... ohhhhhh my mouth was watering just looking at the screen - and I swear I could smell them too! They look absolutely delicious
I don't eat a lot of bread as I'm not ..... great shall we saw, with wheat but I may just be tempted to give them a try!

Aubergine & Courgette Bake ... yum!
I've used this recipe in the past & it was errrr yum!
http://hje-at-home.blogspot.co.uk/2009/03/aubergine-courgette-bake.html (you may need to print the page to read it)
Roasted peppers stuffed with savoury rice
Cheat a bit with this one:
1/2 peppers & remove seeds
Put in roasting tin & drizzle with olive oil
Roast for about 10-15 mins @ around 200 deg
Turn over & roast the other side
Meanwhile - make a packet of savoury rice of your choice (L*idl do a fab Mexican one) - I tend to fry off any any veg I have that need used up (eg mushrooms) & add them to the mixture
Remove peppers from oven, stuff with rice & sprinkle with cheese
Put back in oven for a few mins until cheese melts ..... yum!
Yum Yum ! thanks :j0
