Icesave - how do I make a BACS transfer?

Chaps,
I know I can ring them, but they are busy, and I thought I would try and ask on here first, especially as a working day is still 2 days away.
We have just sold our house, and I want to transfer, or pull, a sum of money from my current account to my icesave account.
DD all setup, and initial payment has been pushed through a good few days ago and shows up.
When I go to Make a transfer, I can enter the account to transfer from, my current account, and then the transfer to selection, my icesave account.
It then states: (This money will be paid into your account within 4 working days. If you would like it to happen sooner, you may use CHAPS, however, a charge of £30.00 will be deducted from your account for this service.)
So here's the crack, I want to use chaps, and take the £30 hit, so I thought, ok I change the day to 5th March, ie next available working day, thinking that it would automatically become a CHAPS payment, and they would take the £30, but instead, it states:
Sorry, you have selected a date which is no longer available. Please select another date.
And I can't see anywhere to change it to a BACS payment/transfer - does anyone know how you do it?
Thanks in advance
Dan

Once you have made the first payment you can only use the ICESAVE Direct Debit facilty, according to them, ie pull money from your linked account using this method on the date they allow you to select. However I have made 3 payments including one for £5k using BACS from my non ICESAVE account, but it is the one the DD is set up from (Nationwide Flex in my case). You enter 203253 in the Sort Code 80469947 in the Account Number and your ICESAVE Account as the Reference. I did this last Sat for £1 just to prove it still works and it does (went in Wed last). If you want to be sure, do the same and put in the full amount later. Otherwise use their DD facilty making sure that the money you want to pay into ICESAVE is in your current account for the first date they allow you to enter. Nationwide would insist that it was in my Flex the day before the DD was due because of the way their computer handles such transactions. You lose up to 2 day's interest using my method but I prefer the surity of it.0

Thanks very much for your reply :-)
I thought what you mentioned might be an option, but I would rather do it the 'correct' or recommended route if at all possible, and especially as it mentions it on the transfer page thought there must be a Icesave method to do it, guess I might need to give them a call on Monday.
I'm being a bit of a coward here, as in my eyes it is a huge sum of money, and a large percentage of it will be for the deposit on our next house, the idea of missing out on 4 days interest AND not having visibility of it for those 4 days is not going to be bearable!
