car decals?

Hi everyone,

I'm helping out on a small non-profit community radio station starting on the 23rd April.
We've been asked to do some of our own promotion, and as I travel about in the local area all day in my car for my normal job, I thought I'd get the station name, frequency, etc - down the side of my car.

Problem is the cost is a little more than I can afford. Most places don't list prices (you know what they say - if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it) and the only ones I can find do are definitely more than I can afford.

I have literally no budget for this, but could probably stretch to a small amount with my own funds.
I'd like to get the logo (on left corner) and station name and frequency (on right corner) from this page: http://www.thornburyfm.org on my car.

Any tips anybody?

I know it's not quite the same, but would windscreen stickers be worthwhile? You could get them out in greater quantities ...

Also, if any of the companies you've found are local (esp. to Thornbury!) ask if they would be willing to sponsor the decals - obviously their name would be there as well - Thornbury FM in BIG letters with Thornbury Litho or whatever in smaller letters underneath. Some companies will do this kind of thing to promote themselves as friendly businesses ...

You can buy cheap car stickers made to your specification on Ebay. The person I used was called tony.palmer , although there will be many others if you look.

I know a guy who sells vinyl lettering on ebay, and it's pretty well priced (cheaper than you might think!). It might or might not be what you're looking for, but if you're interested pm me and i'll let you know his username!

Apparently this company also do wording which can be used for cars. I've used them for quotes for walls inside the home and they've been brilliant

In PC world, I've seen packs of magnetic material you can print on an ink jet printer which could make good magnetic panels on the side of your car. Alternatively they also do self stick windscreen stickers to print yourself.
