Hi i have been on Incapacity benefit for about 7 years as i have severe sciatica and suffer very badly with depression, i also get dla for my inability to stand or walk very far without alot of pain, i had an atos assessment in september where i was put into the WRAG, i appealed and next monday is my tribunal, 2 weeks ago i received another esa50 form to fill out (which i did and sent off) in preparation for my next assessment?, i find it disgusting that they would do another assessment on me before the previous assessment has even been concluded?? i just dont understand why i am going to the tribunal if atos are already preparing my next interrogation, over a thoousand people died last year after being declared fit kicked off benefits and they were disabled??, what the hell is going on??, i will bring the recent form up in my tribunal

Tribunals are taking so long as the moment, it is not unusual for people to be getting another set of forms before the first claim has been decided. Your tribunal decision will run up to the date of the decision for your second claim.0

Ah, so in actual fact, none of these deaths were of people who had been "kicked off benefits". All of them had in fact been moved to the WRAG - a customer group containing many people with life threatening illnesses where you would expect a higher than normal number of deaths...0 -

That article link you thanked to the good old "Mirror" said they don't have the figures for those who died that were declared fit for work: or "kicked off benefits" as you put it.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

According to that article, 5,300 died from the Support Group.
Googling the details of the author of that article in the Mirror, has made quite interesting reading.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Indeed, and given that the number of customers in the support group and the WRAG is roughly similair, that means that you're almost 5 times less likely to die if you're in the WRAG - if it was me I'd do anything I could to try and avoid the support group!0 -
I hate to say it but i don't think you will be successful, I have severe sciatica, have lost the reflexes in my ankle and foot, have had surgery, have arthritis in lower back and another disk gone in my neck which means I can't use my hands or arms properly..
I live on morphine and loads more besides yet im in the WRAG..
Don't get your hopes up..I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0
