Unsuitable baby toy

When DD was born my sister bought her two very nice toy bunny rabbits from Hamleys. The other day when she woke up from a nap I went to go and have a shower, so I left her playing in her cot with a couple of toys.
She was given quite a few toys which are for older children (she's almost 6 months) so I always check the label to make sure they say suitable from birth. When I came back about 5 mins later I could see some black bits over the bed, curious to what it was I realised that there had been a bunny rabit massacre  !! The poor bunny had been sogged to death by a teething baby, on closer inspection I realised that a lot of the fur on the bunny had come off and this was the black stuff (which looked like it had glue on the end). I was unable to tell whether she'd actually eaten any but that was a good few days ago and she's been ok.
I was talking to my mum about it and she said that she recalled my sister saying to her (not me) that it was for older babies. I doubled checked the lable (although I am pretty vigilant on this stuff) and it definitely says suitable from birth. So I went on the website and it says for children 3 years and older.
Apart from being a bit miffed that the lovely present from my sister is ruined which it wouldn't have been if it had been correctly labled (although I should better start getting used to things getting ruined) I do think it's very bad practice to advertisea toy as suitable from birth when it's in fact not suitable at all.
I want to write to them and ask them to do a product recall but is this reasonal or am I over reacting? Had a younger baby got hold of it and munched on the fur then it could have been more dangerous. On a side note it wasn't until afterwards that I stupidly realised that actually this toy has glass eyes which are definitely not suitable for young babies. I should have clicked before I gave it to her, I told my hands up to that but nonetheless I do think that it should be labled age appropriately. I don't want anything from them, I'm not after a quick buck, it's about safety.
Is there anything in particular that I should write for them to take notice? I just think it would be sensible for them to relable the products accordingly.

Screen shot the website now, thats your proof that there is a discrepancy. Write to them in the meantime, enclose a copy of the screenshot and a photo of the rabbit massacre and see where you go from there.
Being Hamleys I assume they will be top notch with customer service.0 -
Are you sure the eyes are glass and not acrylic?0

Just write with your concerns, they may not do a recall on one persons complaint but for all you know others may have complained which could push them into actionThe Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
