Bought tickets using PAYPAL but not received them! Any advice gratefully received!

Hi All,
I've been a bit too trusting and now I'm £54 down because of it.
In short, I used PAYPAL to buy some tickets for a gig (which is tonight) on a ticket exchange website (https://www.scarletmist.com). The guy said he could post them before Wed so I sent him the money and you've guessed it! They haven't arrived.
I emailed the guy on Thursday but he's not responded and confirmed that he's even sent them. I've emailed him this morning asking for my money back but I don't hold out too much hope.
In hindsight I should used an ESCROW service. Next time I'll know.
Since I bought them using PAYPAL I was hoping if anyone had any experience of using their Buyer Complaint Policy procedure?
Obviously I didn't use EBAY and I think PAYPAL have got a separate process for EBAY related PAYPAL issues.
And If anyone's got any other ideas I'd sure like to hear them!
Thanks in advance,
Simon.

never heard of them before...but they do say...Scarlet Mist is not totally safe. We don't know who you're dealing with. We hope it is safer than dealing with a stranger in the street, but we cannot offer any assurances and we cannot prevent frauds or rip-off merchants. If we hear of any such problems we will take whatever action we can, but we are not the Police.0

I think the 'not as described' option is only available to ebay users, but 'item not received' should still be an option for you.My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

Hi CoolTrikerChick,
There seems there is way to buy a ticket from scarletmist with a bit more safety.
If you look at this page on scarletmist it explains how the escrow service works.
Theres a charge though and scarletmist recommends splitting this between the buyer and seller.
I haven't used it (I will next time!) so good luck!
cheers,

MCR tickets will be cheaper the day before the gig on ebay, if you can buy locally and collect that is.
Ive used scarlet mist before and not had a problem
Good luck finding some! I have 4 here I wouldnt sell for the world

I thought Scarletmist was supposed to be quite a reputable site for selling/buying concert tickets at face value.
Will have to look more carefully at it.0
