Hello

I have not posted much before this so hope that this is in the right place. I am just so frustrated at the minute I really do not know what to do. I have eon homecare and pay a monthly fee for them to do a service and provide emergency cover.

My personal situation is that I gave birth 4 weeks ago and also have an 18 month old daughter and a 5 yr old son living at home with me.

Our boiler stopped working Tuesday (17th), they were contacted and sent an Engineer on Wed. Who said a part needed replacing and he told us we were not able to use our boiler, ( no heat and no hot water - we have a gas fire in the living room), he spoke to his boss and got this booked in for Friday afternoon.. we thought this was bad enough but then today I get a phone call to say my appointment will be on monday morning now. I personally think that waiting this long is out of line considering we are a priority 1 call ( with having the children under the age of 3). I was told that they were still provding me with the service I had paid for and would be with me on Monday to fix my boiler...

Am I over reacting or does anyone else think that this is not on!

I rang a local firm who say that Worcester do a next day delivery service on all parts and could replace this for me tomorow afternoon ( parts cost approx £50 but labour would be approx £150).

    Hi Lyndsey,

I hope you don't mind me popping on to this thread.:)

No you're not over reacting at all, can you send me your postcode and house number to my email address in my profile.

I'll have a look in to this, as its not acceptable.

    Thanks Amy
