Best time to call ESA.

While googling, I found this:
http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/108501/response/268909/attach/2/FOI1052%20response%2028.03.12.pdf
In short - it's a breakdown of when ESA calls are answered most quickly.
In short - never call after 5PM.
For every day, the delays approach 15 min.
Monday isn't great, with the average wait over 4 minutes.
Friday is similarly busy, getting worse over the day.
Tuesday-Friday, 9-10AM is the best time to call, when calls are answered in under a minute except Fridays.
Call before midday Tue-Fri, and you'll get through in under a couple of minutes.
(The figures are till the 9th of March - so this may have changed a little)

I had big problems getting through to ESA but from experience, I found that between 12pm and 1pm was the best time for me, strange because I thought that this would be the worst time due to it being lunch time etc.
I would just add, make sure you ask the call centre to ring you back, saves you money and they are happy to do this.
Good luck. Sue0 -
