Hi there, first time poster (long time reader)
A friend of mine is having a problem with them, she had a new boiler installed via BG to replace her old one in the same location, she left them to it whilst it was being done and when they were finished and gone she realised that she could no longer close the door where the previous boiler had been.
Now, she has tried to complain about this to BG and have even been told by the lackies on the phone that they 'don't have a complains procedure'. (I know this is a big lie)
What can she do about it? She has been trying to get it resolved for months now and is no further forward, it might not seem a big thing not being able to shut a door but if it happend to you I'm sure you'd be just as angry

Could you explain about the door, is it a cupboard door or a house door?
Combi boilers do tend to be physically larger that old heat only boilers?That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
They're narked at NOT getting loads of cups of tea whilst on the job!0

It is a cupboard door which she is unable to shut. I am unsure as to what type of boiler it is if I'm honest I well check on that but most likely a combi.
I think it's more, she was paying them to do a job and it wasn't done to her satisfaction, frankly I would just take the door off and get on with it but she feels er.. aggrieved? I believe is the word?
@bluebird: then they'd just be slackers! :rotfl:0
