It's a marketing ploy to get us to think everything is going to be sold off for pennies....
Do a search on BBC.co.uk/news and the article is there. It's not down to money, it's the directors having a dispute.
They say the company will probably keep going when they find a suitable buyer!

I've deleted two posts to stop this thread going off topic and developing into a row.

Regardless of whether this shop is completely closing down or partly closing down, the bottom line is that there is money saving to be had. I think we can leave it there.

I have quite a few gift vouchers for the gadgetshop - I suppose I better try and find something worth buying from them and spend em before it's too late!

Its just a shame I cant use the vouchers online as there is a lot more stuff on their site than in their shops, even the Oxford Street branch looks like a swarm of locusts have pounced!

I think the Aberdeen store is closing down too, saw it in the paper this morning.
