Actually I don't. How many times?0 -
I am guessing it leaves you a lot less out of pocket though than it does going through the vultures that are 'claims management companies'

Indeed and the CMCs are privy to no more information than the customer. If a lender *does* send out an incorrect offer, for whatever reason, it would occur regardless of whether it was sent directly to the customer or via the CMC. If the customer feels the offer is incorrect they have the right to reject it and refer their complaint to the FOS.0 -

Or how many times the customers reject the offer and did not have to pay a claims co to do this.ppidisgrace wrote: »i take it then you have no idea how many times the banks send out offers that are incorrect or unfair direct to customers
What bank I work for has got nothing to do with you

I find it quite amusing how ppidisgrace is getting indignant about a percieved dirty trick goodwill gesture by banks... Even if a claims company did manage (and they wouldn't) to get you more, you'd still end up with less thanks to their percentage fee and VAT.
I'd rather get slightly less back from the bank than pay lots to a dodgy claims company, plus I'd you're still paying off the loan that you're claiming the PPI back on, there's every chance that the bank will redress your PPI against the remaining balance of your debt and then you'd end up owing the claims company a hefty amount is money you still don't actually have.
On the whole.. the bank is the lesser evil.:www: Progress Report :www:

Yes, I think we are ruining his lovely conspiracy theory by applying logic to it! If banks *were* routinely sending customers lesser offers it would have to be a directive issued from the top. Does ppidisgrace really believe with thousands of staff working on these claims no one would have blown the whistle by now?0 -

keep your spam away is this how you hijack the agenda
who is paying you to sit on these sites all days
the banks are the lesser evil, hmmm I wonder who really is paying you,
the difference in claim value can often be far greater than the cost of the cmc
the ultimate cost is that the person gets nothing at all, which is what many of them got
beware the lies and propoganda folks, people with no experience giving advice probably being paid by the banks , or that either without all the facts and too much time on their hands
you cant trust the banks , beware the people who are trying to push you this way0 -
yes lloyds bank for example are conducting an underhand way of phoning up clients and tricking them into giving up their claim , its going on, please dont listen to these people who actually dont know whats really going on out there, the banks are still up to their dirty tricks, even to the extent of having people posting on these forums I wouldnt put it past them,
why have lloyds changed their approach and gone underhand I dont know, maybe because the government want to sell off the bank before the next election and pay for a tax give away, who knows, but once again the people get screwed0 -
Who is paying me? I work for the NHS, which last time I checked definitely wasn't a bank.
You sir, are either a person put upto drumming claims company business by your claims company boss or a fool. Perhapps both.
I try not to be rude to people on a forum and apoligise to the moderators for making an exception in your case.:www: Progress Report :www:
