spa break help

Hi I am looking for ideas for a value for money spa break for my friends 30 birthday. I have never been on a spa break so no idea where to start or what is good value for money.
We are looking to stay over night on a Friday in July and anywhere within 45-60 mins by car of Manchester.
This is the best i have found so far but have no idea if there are any better deals out there.

Hi me and my mate have been to herons reach Blackpool on a spa deal, if you go on the village hotel website and look up deals, it's a package with dinner bed and breakfast it's a bargain, it's been modernised with a nice Italian restaurant and outdoor pool. It's a bit out of Blackpool , with it's own parking etc...It's about 80.00pp I think or maybe less on a friday
