Best value vets in Cardiff, please

Can anyone recommend good value vets in Cardiff, please?

The cat is elderly, so I don't think I can get insurance, and I'm not eligible to use the PDSA. The cat has hyperthyroidism, so needs tablets and blood tests.

Thanks.

Once you know the medication your cat needs, you could possibly buy meds over the internet, which would be cheaper.

The vet at St David's Medical Centre in Pentwyn always used to be quite cheap. Alternatively, if you don't mind travelling a bit, Jones the Vet in Newport are good too.

Thank you so much, both. Sadly, my cat's died now, but it's useful to know.
For others looking for cheap vets, the PDSA on Bute Street is available for people on Housing Benefit or Council Tax Benefit.
