You can claim JSA if you are actively looking for work or working fewer than 16 hours per week, but would I be entitled to this cos I have a partner. I am looking for further work at the moment. I don't pay any tax or insurance and havnt done for the past 4 years.

You can claim JSA if only to get NI credits. However, there are other ways to get NI credits without having to visit the jobcentre every 2 weeks such as setting up a small business (even just a small outfit ebay trading will do) and paying self employment NI payments or by having child benefit in your name.I work 15 hrs per week and my husband works 37.5 hrs.
