Reading the Private Eye article, it looks like they don't know that Excel and the BPA are the same person.

    Have Excel refunded anyone?

At least he has tried to do something; but, unfortunately, it shows how little he understands the situation, that he even contemplates the notion that anyone should "pay"!
  • I have previously posted asking for advice about a PCN from Excel - this is the carpark my husband had the ticket despite the fact he never parked or turned off the engine, left the car etc as he was waiting for me and the kids! He came to collect us as this car park is an access area to the town centre which itself is pedestrianised.

I was wondering that as we are currently refusing to pay Excel and holding firm in ignoring them (please let my nerve hold out ), would if it came to court the fact that Excel have had no planning permission to erect cameras go in our favour?

Can you tell I'm a born worrier? :o

I have every reason to believe that this situation will be addressed in the very near future. ;)

I'm trying to dig out the previous Private Eye article about Excel.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
