Interior door handle

Hi guys, any ideas where to buy a chrome interior door handle for a mini cooper 2008?

    have you tried MINI themselves? I've had to get various bits of trim and they havent been totally scandalous for prices.

    None on ebay that i can find, but would have been my first port of call!

    Yeah ive had a look on ebay and they all seem to be the pre 2006 models unfortunately, OH's going mini tomorrow to see how much they are.

    Knowing mini they will be a fortune though.

    They look relatively easy to fit, although do you think a local garage would fit it if i'm struggling?

  • Most likely one screw holding it in(but often are torx type), maybe a couple of push clips and then a cable will slot into a hole/groove in the handle.I wouldn't pay someone to do that.There will be an online guide somewhere anyway.

    Have they really changed that much? They still can't seem to make a reliable power steering pump........ You'd have thought they'd sort that out before messing about with bits of interior plastic.

    Thanks for all the help guys, ordered one direct from mini, £19.50 and even the bloke in the garage said it was easy enough to fit ourselves so going to give it a go :)
