Trying to sell flat since August. Had new estate agent to value today Express Estate Agency. Would love any feed back if anyone has used them. Are they OK or Too Good To Be True.
I have tried to find info about them on here without success.

Very surprised you can't find anything about them on here.
If I am not much mistaken, they are notorious for putting houses on the market at a 'low' price, with the justification to the seller that this is just to tempt buyers in and that the house will actually secure a much higher price.
Buyers make an offer in the region of the marketed price, only to be told that the seller is expecting a significantly higher price.
Buyers are hacked off and walk away.
Edit: I notice you've posted this query twice. Please could you go back and delete the other one as you've no responses on there - and you should only have one thread running at a time to avoid duplication and confusion.0 -
Thank you for your info. I'm sure there are other posts but this is my first time using this site that's probably why this is posted twice Sorry! We try and delete other one.

If your property has been on the market since last summer and you've not had any offers the problem may not be all of the agent's doing.
It's either very overpriced for the local area, is not well-presented, not being marketed properly or a combination of all three.
Which agent/s have you been using since August and how many viewings have you had? If you've had any viewings what has the feedback been?
Where's the RightMove entry and we'll try and tell you what you can do other than signing up with shysters who promise the earth and deliver you nothing except an offer for less than you should be getting. I could do that for you for 1.5% and I don't have any proper training either0 -
Thanks for your reply.
It's on rightmove under Hunstanton, Norfolk. 2 bed flat £100000. it's the only flat on at that price. It's with Abbotts. Had at least 20 viewings but some hadn't sold their property, a few who are investers. Feed back
Nice flat but not what they are looking for. 2nd bedroom too small or kitchen too small, comments have varied. One problem is lease has 61yrs left which estae agents say I have reduced amount enough to take this into consideration as first advertised for £135000. and gradually dropped over the months. I have decluttered as much as poss also given the garden a good trim and painted fence and shed since these pictures were
taken. Abbotts seem to be at a loss now as to why it's not selling.
Any tips would be very much appreciated.0 -

Thanks poppy10 for posting rightmove link.
I'm going to get the agent to take new photos as I think it looks better now I have removed some furniture and improved the garden, hopefully this will help.0 -
I agree, EEA are a bunch of jokers. Noticed property on the market for £99,950. Viewed and made an offer of £110K, instantly rejected. "The vendor is looking for £120,000". Strange that, according to property bee, the property was on with another agent for £120,000 for about a year and didn't sell.
I suppose it does mean that the vendor is at least getting viewings.0 -
My mum just sold her house through these. The offer was accepted within the first 2 weeks of being on the market, she got exactly what she wanted price wise which was higher than the asking price.
Cant fault them really, even tho I was dubious to start with, thinking they would make her take a lower amount.
edit: the pictures they did for my mum were rubbish but it didnt put people off we had 6 viewings within the first few days, and everyone said the pictures didnt do it justice.0
