I have to attend an all day meeting in Manchester University - the old UMIST site off Sackville Street on Tuesday. Have been told parking is £10 per day. Can anyone advise a cheaper alternative within 20 mins walk that will be available around 8.15 am.

no chance .use the train.Parking stasi patrol the city and pounce where they can.Allday parking is mad expensive.Find one a bit out of town and bus in or pay about a tenner.0
