Hi I had my first Sun holiday last year after a lovely MSEr gave me their code, and it does work out a lot cheaper, I got the campsite and dates I wanted for £160 the same weeek on there website was nearly £600, so a huge saving :j

Thanks. Im hopeful for a Haven, Park resorts or Butlins type holiday to keep the kids entertained. Ill have to buy entertainment passes and I dont mind as the kids love swimming. I know for a fact that both Haven and Park Resorts ask for passes to access the swimming pool at our parks in Yorkshire. We have been on non sun weeks and they do this. I havent been to Butlins for 4 years so dont know their rules on passes. It would be the Skegness site we'd go to. Even if I paid everything there it would be a £600+ saving like you say. No doubt it will be difficult to get as Im not a priority booker......

Any holiday for 4 nights would suit and we could go to a local swimming baths eh? its not the end of the world and a change of these 4 walls........

We have our holiday booked for sept 17th as we booked with the one earlier in the year. I have received a reference number and the bonus code etc. Can I give this to a friend to use to book her one for the summer or is this only unique to me?

Are there entertainment passes for Butlins? We've been every year for years now and no one's ever asked us if we're Sun guests or standard residents - though I did see there's a £10 per person charge to hire quilts, sheets and pillows so that would add an extra £40 to a standard family unless you have room in the car to bring them all.

For two of us it's cheaper for us to book direct.

Yes you can pass this to your friend to use, when she comes to book it all she has to do is change it into her name and address when booking, next year you will both get a priority reference number.

I am sure they accept electron cards as I have paid using both my credit card and my bank account cards.

You then pay the remaining balance via card or cheque when they send you out confirmation within 28 days

So am I right in assuming the earliest date we can book online is Thursday when the 7th code comes out (plus the bonus code)? Also do the August dates go pretty quickly and if so it is a case of get the Sun as soon as you can on Thursday morning to get the code?

Do you HAVE TO put 3 dates down as I only have 1 date I can go on, will it let me through to the next stage if I only put 1 date down? Sorry for all the questions, i'm a sun holiday virgin ;)

If u are a sun virgin I gather u don't have a ref number to book online. So will have to post if u can only do 1 date I suggest u just put 1 date for postal x
